Travelin’
Following those cement ribbons
the big green signs
Almost hostile hereOut of my way trucker!
you’re too slow
Out of my way Taurus
your blinker’s on.Pass me will ya ?!
you maniac!
move… move!No one smiles as we pass
But I love those bare feet on the dashboard!M&M’s and coffee,
turning up the radio, wishing I was home.Smile somebody!
Smile!DSS

It amazes me that people assume that no one can see into their cars! hehe! I have heard stories from truck drivers that they see plenty from their elevated point of view. Hope your arrival home is always swift and safe!
I love it when cars pass me and the passenger, usually a woman, will have their feet up on the dash. I counted 7 pairs between St. Louis and Kansas City a few weeks ago.
I was doing 70 on the interstate today and I had people honking at me.
I think the strangest encounter I had while someone was passing me was when I was in the left lane passing someone and a person zoomed past me doing at least 90 on the shoulder.
People are fricking crazy, we have to be careful out there! Sometimes I think they are all maniacs, assholes and idiots. There’s got to be more out there to smile about than what we’re seeing. Thanks for stopping by.
I love this!!! Great poem and perspective!!!
at other drivers
and sometimes wave
!!!
I smile
HUGS!!!
Tickled that you liked it!
People seem to get in their car and isolate themselves. I may start a campaigne to encourage waving and smiling as we drive. Maybe more mooning too. Yes, we need more mooning. Nothing raises one’s spirit more than receiving a well done Moon. Don’t you agree?
Ha – nice poem – that sounds full of road frustration. But I agree – bare feet on the dash are nice. I remember when I used to do that
. peace always
You are right, it is road frustration, not rage. I’ve noticed that women put both feet on the dash and men, if at all, only put one. Thank you for coming by, please come back often.
Ha! I DO agree!
BUTT, you knew I would!!!
I’ve been mooned and I’ve mo…well, you know where this is gonna’ END up!!

You CRACK me UP!!!
HUGS!!!
I must SIT down and write a TAIL about this. lol
hahahaha…there is a full moon out tonight:)
That’s probably what woke me up, I’m very tuned to the moon.
