Goliath Thought
From within it’s formed, the Goliath thought.
the idea from wisdom’s wealth.
It has no texture, touch or feel,
only the vapor mist of the image sought. From restless sleep, the reoccurring dreams
are sequenced as on silver film.
There is no canvas, script or clay,
but they are as real as forged iron beams. But from these fleeting and frail mindful hones
grand ideas take on real life.
Unlike giants of human flesh,
are not brought down by slung single stones.DSS

It is true, in all forms of art, and the written word, especially, that thoses “vapor mist images” take on a life of their own, impervious to reason and stones, alike. Great title.

indeed, the pen is mightier than the sword, and the invisible becomes …visible.
Nice!
@SandraErickson - Thank you Sandra! Hope your craft show is going well.
@Bels_Kaylar - Mightier than the sling shot.
@anvilsandedelweiss - Glad you liked it Leah!
I believe you have hit it square on – there is a life to ideas that are much harder to quash.
@Iamsurrounded - It went reasonably well, and I got a commision out of the deal! It is always an ordeal, though, and I am very happy it is over…now, on to NaNoWriMo. heh.

@murisopsis - Thanks Val, luckily the good ideas have as much staying power as the bad.
@SandraErickson - Commissions! Cha..Ching!
I have one Goliath dream and I refuse to let sticks and stones bring it down! I love the images you convey through your words.
I think I know what that dream is.
Glad you liked this!
