  • Now it snows.
    The winds have blown,
    the cool north weather shifts
Light snow fog breezy and mist
    34
    branches shine mercury wet
    flakes rest melted on grass
    roads splash and hiss
    into night.

  • Snow would be nice – three feet of it, Divine, actually, instead of this too cold to snow and then mosly-cold with rain. UGH…waiting for spring, already. Really enjoyed your poem. Stay warm.

  • I was duped today. I went geocaching on the bad info that it was going to be 47 – instead it was a high of ~ 31. Miserable cold and the knee deep snow was everywhere. Spring can’t get here too soon!

  • @SandraErickson - Thank You Sandra! Yes, I know you love that white stuff, the deeper the better, but you know that I really enjoy seeing it melt in the grass, lol! Glad you enjoyed this!

  • @murisopsis - Oh boy! 31 does nothing to help the snow situation. Geocaching has got to be really hard in deep snow. I’m afraid we will have at least two more months of this here, come on Spring! Thanks for stopping Val!

  • I WANT SNOW!  I’m with Sandra!  Enough of this balmy 55 degree weather!  Nevertheless, your poem was perfect!

  • @heart_beep - It can stay as balmy as it wants.55 sounds just about right for now and then about March it can turn off nice. I don’t know about you guys. lol!
